When: I've been working in communications for 8 years. I’ve worked as a copywriter, a digital content strategist, a brand strategist, a digital marketing lead, and an executive communications specialist. I know content inside and out, from every angle.

Where: Creative agencies as well as in-house communications teams. I’ve worked for diverse clients ranging from nonprofits and startups to Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions.

Why: Because words matter. The way we frame a headline, the language we use to describe a community of people, and the stories we choose to tell directly impact peoples’ beliefs and biases. Writing, then, is an immense responsibility. As a queer woman, I take this responsibility very seriously and always approach my work from a place of equity and inclusion.
